“Our role at Bottle Rocket is all sales when it comes down to it,” Derek said. “We have to sell ourselves as a consultant to our client, we sell to potential candidates in the market, then we turn around and sell the candidate back to our client.”
Derek describes the overall process as sales at different capacities, highlighting that understanding a client’s needs is vital. Along with this, their job is to stay up to date with information surrounding coworking, which Derek mentioned doing so by chatting with industry influencers, picking up on trends, and understanding where things are headed.“It’s better to be proactive than reactive,” Derek said.
